SUMMARY:Builders & Developers Council - Industry Updates
DESCRIPTION:A Technical Committee at the Oklahoma Uniform Code Commission has begun their review of the International Residential Code for the next code cycle adoption. Longtime Commission member\, Danny Hancock\, will be providing an update on the committee's efforts to-date as well as an OUBCC update. In addition\, Danny is a Tulsa Technology Center Board member and a champion of industry workforce development so we expect an update of TTC's efforts\, too. \n\n\n\nMichael Skates has been back at the City of Tulsa for awhile\, but now we welcome him in his new role as Interim Development Services Director. Driveways and Right-of-Way were the primary topic of discussion when his appearance was scheduled\, but now we expect to receive an update of departmental remote working\; past\, present\, and future\, as well as how the department performed during the ramsomware attack on the City of Tulsa.
