SUMMARY:Owasso Chapter Meeting - Help Us Help Others
DESCRIPTION:The HBA's Owasso Chapter has a long history of giving back to the community.  In July\, the Chapter hosted its annual golf tournament with the majority of the proceeds going to Owasso Community Resources\, an organization committed to providing services to families and individuals facing economic hardship.  OCR strives to prevent hunger\, prevent homelessness\, and restore hope for those on a path to self-sufficiency. \n\n\n\nOn September 26\, a check presentation will be made to Randy Cowling\, Executive Director of Owasso Community Resources.  At the same time\, HBA members are invited to donate to the Chapter's FOOD DRIVE to benefit Owasso Community Resources as we enter the season of thanksgiving. \n\n\n\nLunch is at no charge to HBA members and guests\, but we encourage all HBA members to bring non-perishable food items to the meeting for donation to Owasso Community Resources.  \n\nMost needed items to re-fill the OCR Food Pantry are Peanut Butter\, Tuna\, Canned Meats (Chicken\, Spam\, Vienna Sausages)\, Mac & Cheese\, Boxed Potato Flakes\, Hamburger Helpers\, Pork N Beans\, Canned Beef Stew\, Canned Soups\, Canned Spaghetti Sauce (No Glass Jars)\, Canned Pasta (Spaghetti O's or Ravioli)\, Canned Beans (any variety)\, Canned Vegetables (corn\, green beans\, carrots) and Canned Fruits (peaches\, pears\, applesauce).  Personal hygiene items such as deodorant\, toothpaste and toothbrushes\, shampoo\, bar soap and body wash\, and toilet paper are also appreciated.
