SUMMARY:Significant Changes to the IRC\, 2018 Edition
DESCRIPTION:BUILDERS: This course meets the continuing education requirements for the City of Tulsa Professional Residential Builder license\, the OkHBA Certified Professional Builder registration\, and NAHB designation renewals. \n\nThe goal of this course is to familiarize building officials\, fire officials\, plans examiners\, inspectors\, design professionals\, contractors\, and others in the construction industry with many of the important changes in the 2018 International Residential Code (IRC).  The major changes from the 2015 IRC to the 2018 IRC will be presented.  Participants will discuss the changes\, reasons for the changes\, and take part in knowledge review activities.  Information presented will allow participants to apply these new code requirements to design\, plan review\, and/or inspection.
