Build My Future 2023

There is strong demand for construction industry professionals and most students and parents are unaware of the diverse career opportunities available in the residential construction industry. 

At Build My Future, 1,500 students from 15 school districts in the metro Tulsa area are invited to explore construction related trades and experience hands-on activities.

From setup to teardown, it’s all hands on deck for Build My Future 2023. There’s not a moment when you won’t be actively engaged with high school students, teachers, and counselors from the Tulsa metropolitan area.
Build My Future volunteer activities are as follows:

• October 31, 2023 - afternoon and evening
  Floor layout and exhibit setup
  Stuffing swag bags: wristband, sunglasses, bandana, pencil, and more
  Stocking exhibitor lounge
• November 1, 2023 - morning, afternoon, and evening
  Welcoming students at registration tent
  Ushering students to and from orientation sessions
  Distributing t-shirts and swag bags
  Verifying wristbands, serving lunch, and bussing tables
  Assisting exhibitors
  Mentoring students in hanger and on tarmac
  Exhibit tear down
